Finding yourselves shopping around again! All that time spend looking for the best priced, best quality products could waste more time that its worth, the 10 or so suppliers you keep adding into your supplier base could actually be harming your company, let me explain, did you check them out? How did you check? Bet you had to pay up front for something you've not yet seen, all those invoices and proformas. So what happens if the worse does accrue, will they take your calls? will they replace the parts? And will they refund you should the parts prove to be inferior?
So what should you do?
You should look to create a barrier between your purchasing team and new suppliers, if the supplier is worthy of their name, they will fill in a quality questionnaire, and agree to reasonable Terms and conditions, for those who don't or you feel you would prefer not to deal with you can have a Tail end distributor come and buy on your behalf letting them deal with the supplier will save your purchasing team endless sales calls from each of these companies allowing them to focus on core work. Another main advantage is you will have good terms and conditions with a supplier you purchase from on a regular bases so if anything does go wrong you can fall back on them. and remember with no money wired to some far flung place you wont have the worry of getting your money back.

Another busy week
As the working week now draws to an end, its time to reflect on what has been another challenging, busy and hectic week within the Electronic Components supply business. With quoting and RFQ responding once again steady, orders have been slower. Sales team need to adjust, focus and work closer with their customer base and always Bean willing to jump through hoops.
