Deal or no Deal?
Today we are discussing how much risk is too much?
Here's the dilemma if you had two box’s one with £50 in and the other had £100,000 in and the banker offered you £20,000 for your box what would you do?
Well I know what I would do I’d take the £20,000, why would I do that? (And me being an Essex boy and all!) It’s simple, I came with nothing and rather than leave with nothing I’ve £20,000 and that’s a hell of a lot of money! I don’t gamble and with odds that could potentially leave me high and dry, the 20K will do nicely thank you!! And that leads me onto what Oracle stands for we don’t take unnecessary chances! We won’t sell product that‘s cheap, low quality reporting to be the real thing, hoping to simply turn a quick buck, with loads of profit in the deal, only to fall down on parts after delivery!
When the deal is too good to be true it usually is! With parts currently on allocation or obsolete parts no-one can take the risk can they?!
When you send a purchasing order to a supplier, be sure you are dealing with a company that you trust!
